As someone stated previously, it may be cheaper and more “natural” to just have the high impact areas like the front bumper repainted every 5-7 years. Get an estimate on both repainting and PPF.

CAP & CSW can you look into carrying Superior Products? The quality & prices are the best in the business IMO. You can get anything you want at any O’Rileys but it’s a pain. You have to go there, find what you want in their computer, then they order it for you and gotta go back & pick it up. Seriously their chemicals and prices are a game changer yall

We started as a part time mobile unit. Took the plunge into a shop & full time status after the 1st year. Now looking back I think it was a mistake to open a shop. So much of what we have to make goes towards rent, insurance, and bills like heat, water, electricity etc. Mobile detailing is so much more profitable and I find more clients like having that white glove service of having us come to their home. Just food for thought for anyone just starting out

I live in Chicago and am getting 35% all around BUT want the windshield 50%. The law says only 6 inches but I would like to know from other’s experiences if I would get pulled over for it or not?

Just tried today with WD-40 and isopropyl alcohol. Both worked great, think the WD-40 does a slightly better job though.

I have a P&S ceramic coating after 3 months, I am blown away. I just wipe the truck off with a micerfiber towel moistened with the P&S "Spray n shine lubricant no rinse spray. 5 min. wipe down, no water, all bug and road film removed without scrubing. I have never seen any product do anything close to this. A 300 mile drive in the high to low desert Tehachapi Ca. to Bakersfield and back plus more in mojave. I have seen people say, "I don't belive in ceramic coating" , I say, yes it is hard to but seeing in believing. Likely most treatments done by a pro are worth it.

Just did a coating with this coating on a Porsche 911. Spectacular gloss. Did it in some extreme humidity so you do have to adapt to weather conditions.

I am undecided between ceramic coating vs PPF, I want rock chip protection hence PPF is the choice. But I am not sure in terms of ease of maintenance, is PPF easier to maintain comparing to ceramic coating?

Well most people don't have a detail garage with floor drains to wash their cars and by the looks of the weather on the day of your shooting I doubt many are doing a driveway job either! :) A real good tip for everyone who wants to minimize the possibility of damage from car wash brushes is to ask for a "full wrap retract" from the attendant. This option flows all the good suds over your car and minimizes or eliminates contact from the evil spinning brushes. Great option for someone who keeps their car clean but needs a wash. Oh and yeah, that tire shine option must NOT be a part of your options at purchase YUK! Great channel guys!

Detailing isn't simple... Reputation is key efficiency once you get work is key... If you're charging $50 - $60 for an" in and out" you better find a way to be done with a car in under 1 hour and 15minutes...

Don’t forget when you peel PPF you CAN damage factory paint. Also at the cost of PPF you practically can repaint the car….

Hello. I have a 2010 Altima and I live in South Florida. Altought I put one sun shield on the dashboard and another one behind it, my dashboard starts cracking. It’s still flexible and does not feel rigid but still cracking. Do you think I can protect it from cracking if I apply silicon spray or vaselin on it? If not, what do you recommend? TY

Never understood ceramic coatings. It used to be you hard waxed your car twice a year and that was enough. For what a basic ceramic job costs, you could pay for a complete detailing twice a year.

I have a 2002 gmc yukon it has factory tint. What should I put over it?

I’m looking for the perfect window tint because I have a severe sun allergy, and trying to figure out which is the best to get, and will I be able to see clearly out while driving at night.

Just use dip disolver. If it was dipped right, this would have been super easy though. Plastidip is pretty awesome. The way this guy shows is NOT how you remove plastidip.

There is a product called Revivify Coatings that claims to be better than ceramic and close to PPF. Have you heard of it or has it been independently tested? There are MAJOR claims out there but it is by installers and is an installer only product so I susect bias. Its quite expensive, around $2500 to have your car coated. It claims self healing, antigraffiti and more. Curious of your professional opinion as I cannot find any other unbiased reviews of revivify.
